Built for people who'd rather not upload their documents.
Sable does PDF work in your browser, not on our servers. That's not a slogan — it's how the tools are actually built.
Why we built this
Every other PDF tool we tried worked the same way: upload your file to a server, wait, download the result, and hope it got deleted. For a contract, a medical record, or anything you'd rather not hand to a stranger, that's a bad trade. So Sable's tools run the real processing — merging, compressing, encrypting — as code in your browser. Your file only leaves your device if you choose to save the result to your account.
How Sable is different
Merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, protect, and every other working tool run as client-side code. There's no upload step to wait on and no server copy of your file to worry about.
Every working tool runs without signing in. Create an account only if you want a history of your files and access to them from another device.
When Protect PDF says AES-256, it means it — the tool runs the actual QPDF encryption engine compiled to WebAssembly, the same standard used by banks, not a cosmetic password prompt.
Some tools listed in our catalog are still on the way. We'd rather mark a tool "coming soon" than pretend it works.
