Redact PDF
Draw a box, and that content is gone — not covered. Any page with a redaction box loses all text selection and search on that entire page, not just the redacted area.
Permanently remove sensitive content.
Redact PDF draws a solid black box over content you choose, then rebuilds that entire page as a flat image — so what's underneath the box isn't just visually covered, it's gone from the file. This is different from drawing a box on top of existing content (which every other tool in this category typically does, and which leaves the original text or image still selectable and copyable underneath). The tradeoff: any page with a redaction box is rasterized entirely, so it loses all text selection and search — not just inside the box, the whole page. Pages with no redaction box are left completely untouched and stay fully searchable.

The page is rebuilt as a flat image — there's no text or image data left underneath the box to recover.

Nothing uploads to a server — redaction happens entirely in your browser.
You always know exactly which pages were flattened: the ones you marked, and only those.
Your documents belong to you.
Sable is designed around a single principle: your files are yours. We never train on them, never sell them, and never keep them longer than we need to.
